The PA Liberty Belles are a volunteer and charity
focused pinup club using our love of vintage
and retro style to make the world a better place!
Since forming in early 2018, the PA Liberty Belles have logged countless volunteer hours at events throughout their respective communities. In addition to assistance with running events and activities, the Belles bring an awareness to causes near and dear to their hearts.
Here are a few highlights:
Belles brought joy to elderly residents of the Pickering Manor facility. They brought with them a collections of vintage clothing and accessories as well as a professional photographer. The Belles and residents had a blast dressing up and posing for the camera. Photographs were then provided to the residents and their families, free of charge, to remember the day. ·
At various tabling events including community car shows, the Lancaster Pride celebration, and an outing to the Philadelphia Zoo, the Belles advocated and collected donations for Distributing Dignity. The organization provides essential feminine hygiene products and undergarments to girls and women in need.
A special campaign was conducted to give back to the dedicated men and women of the U.S. Military Services. The Belles collected items to create nearly 50 care packages, as well as the funds to cover the cost of shipping each package directly to a deployed service man or woman. In addition, they partnered with a professional photographer and an established pinup magazine, to create and publish a special edition publication that would be included in these packages, "With Love from the PA Liberty Belles."
The holiday season saw the Belles check many items off the wish list for Northern Children's Services. Proceeds from the 2019 PA Liberty Belles calendar sales as well as items donated during a "Christmas with the Belles" event at a local diner provided children in the after school care program with educational games, activities, and some new décor for their meeting room.
